One of the most beautiful lights in my life. I was standing on the cliff on the southern edge of New Zealand, 24 thousand kilometres from home. Between Antarctica and me there was only the ocean. The sky was covered by three separate layers of clouds. On the west, there was a massive storm over the Fiordland mountains. And then for just about a minute the sun found a gap and lit up with incredible power the whole scene. How can you not start crying at that moment?
